Prasar Bharati Chairman A Surya thanks Irani as term ends

Prasar Bharati Chairman A Surya Prakash thanked Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani and members of the public broadcaster for their cooperation as his three-year term came to an end today.

Prakash, a senior journalist, was appointed as the chairman of Prasar Bharati on October 28, 2014, for three years on the recommendation of a committee headed by the then vice president M Hamid Ansari.

"I thank @smritiirani & the govt for courtesies extended to me & to every member of the @prasarbharati parivar for unstinted cooperation (sic)," he tweeted.
