President inaugurates convention centre at LPU

President Pranab Mukherjee today inaugurated a convention centre at the campus of Lovely Professional University, Chaheru here.

Named 'Unipolis', the centre is claimed to be the largest in the country, said LPU Chancellor Ashok Mittal in a press release here.

Mittal said it can cater to more than 30,000 peoples gathering at a single time.

President Mukherjee also made an address at the eighth convocation of the university.
