Prez congrats Germany for winning FIFA World Cup

President Pranab Mukherjee today congratulated Germany for winning football World Cup even as he asked Indian footballers to draw inspiration to scale new heights.

"Congrats Germany, bravo Argentina, compliments host Brazil, Indian Football, let's draw inspiration, scale new heights," the President said on twitter.

Germany became the first European team to lift the World Cup in South America, clinching a hard-fought 1-0 win over Argentina in the final last night in Brazil.
