Protest after woman dies of heart attack

A protest broke out in Demina area of the city today after a woman died of cardiac arrest which she allegedly suffered when security forces entered her house while chasing a group of stone-pelters.

Jameela, wife of Abdul Rasheed, suffered a heart-attack this evening at her home in Nundreshi colony of Demina area, a police official said.

He said locals took to streets following Jameela's death alleging that she suffered the cardiac arrest as the security forces entered into her house.

The protest is still going on.
