The Home Ministry is organising a day-long interactive session in Kerala to hear grievances of people and make them aware of issues related to overseas citizenship of India, grant of citizenship to foreign nationals and extension of visa for staying in the country.

The session, organised by the Home Ministry's foreigners division, will be held at Vadakara in Kozhikode District of Kerala on January 23, an official release said.

"With a view to make the applicants aware of the various procedures for approval of various facilities and also to advise individual applicants on the status of their pending applications, this public hearing has been organised," the release said.

Those who would like to attend the public hearing, or pursue cases pending in the Ministry on the above subjects should register with the Ministry with details of their application/MHA reference, if any, to the e-mail: sarthakkumar2014@yahoo.In.
