Public money being used to glorify Deendayal Upadhyaya: Dudi

Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Rameshwar Dudi today accused the Centre and the state government of glorifying former Jansangh leader Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on public funds.
He said that he had received by post a set of books on Pandit Deendayal from the Centre that cost Rs 6,000 and alleged that it had controversial contents.
The contribution of Congress leaders in nation building has been projected in a bad light. The BJP-ruled centre and state governments are misusing public money to glorify Upadhyaya, Dudi alleged.
He alleged that the state government had held no functions to celebrate the centenary year of former prime minister Indira Gandhi.
