Pudukottai District Prison SP suspended over graft charge

A senior prison official has been placed under suspension for alleged irregularities committed by him when he served as the Deputy Superintendent of Coimbatore prison, in 2008.

The DIG of Prisons K Jayabharathi had placed C S Ravindran, posted as Pudukottai District Prison Superintendent, under suspension for alleged irregularities in procuring groceries when he was the DSP of Coimbatore prisons.
