Punjab Armed Police personnel killed in road mishap

A 30-year-old Punjab Armed Police personnel was killed when the motorcycle he was riding on was hit by a truck at Surya Enclave area this morning.

Baljinder Singh, a Havaldar at Punjab Armed Police, was killed when the motorcycle he was riding on was hit by the truck from behind, Jalandhar Police Commissionerate sources said.

The victim, a resident of Adampur area here, was on his way to work when the mishap occurred. The truck driver managed to flee the spot with his vehicle, police said.
