Punjab govt to launch single file system

On the directions of the Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, various departments has been asked to submit their suggestions regarding implementation of single file system within a week, said a spokesperson of the Administrative Reforms Department.

Currently, different files are submitted in various departments for a single work.

Government has taken this step to remove all unnecessary hindrances and wastage of time in file clearance process, he said.
