Punjab govt to provide scholarships to meritorious students

On the 125th birth anniversary of B R Ambedkar, Punjab government will provide scholarships to students who performed brilliantly in matriculation and class XII exams.

The government would provide Rs one lakh each to 125 students who performed brilliantly in matriculation and Rs 1.50 lakh each to another 125 students for Class XII exam, Education Minister Daljit Singh Cheema said here.
