Puthiya Thamizhagam stages walkout in TN Assembly

Puthiya Tamizhagam member K Krishnasamy today staged a walkout in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, after the Speaker declined to permit him to raise certain issues.

Soon after question hour and the eventual reply by Food Minister R Kamaraj on a call attention motion, Puthiya Tamizhagam leader Krishnasamy stood up to raise an issue but Speaker P Dhanapal declined permission.

After repeated attempts, Krishnasamy staged a walkout.
