Rahul congratulates Mamata

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today congratulated Mamata Banernjee on being sworn in as Chief Minister of West Bengal for a second consecutive tenure.

"Congratulations to @MamataOfficial ji on being sworn in as Chief Minister. My best wishes to her & the Cabinet for the term ahead", Gandhi said on micro-blogging site Twitter.

In Kolkata, Banerjee was sworn in as Chief Minister heading a 42-member ministry even as the Congress- Left combine and state BJP unit boycotted the ceremony to protest against post-poll violence allegedly by Trinamool Congress.
