Raid at leading retail chain store; food samples collected

Food Safety Officer Surender Poonia along with his team raided the store in Sector 23 and took samples of oil and bottled milk.

A complaint had been made by the Resident Welfare Association (RWA) to Deputy Commissioner P C Meena regarding the sale of products which had crossed their expiry date, after which he ordered the raid.

The samples have been sent for testing.
