Railway cop found dead in Srinagar

A head constable of Railway police was today found dead here, prompting police to launch inquest to ascertain the cause of his death.

Rajinder Singh was posted at Katra railway station and was found dead on the roadside near Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) in the heart of the city this morning, police said.

The body was sent for autopsy, police said, adding an investigation was started to ascertain the cause of his death.
