Rain and thunder showers are most likely to occur at few places in Kerala and Lakshadweep during the next five days.
Strong winds from Northwest direction with a speed occasionally reaching 45-55 kmph is likely to hit along and off Kerala coast and over Lakshadweep area during the next 24 hours from 1400 hrs, a weather bulletin said.
Rain was recorded in few places in the state while dry weather prevailed over Lakshadweep.
Thiruvananthapuram recorded 4.5 mm rain today, it added.
