Rains keep temperature low in Bihar

Intermittent rain continued to keep temperature low in Bihar today even as many towns witnessed waterlogging problem in the wake of downpours.

Patna received 41.7 mm rain, according to Met office bulletin.

Purnea recorded 15.1 mm rains while it was 2 mm in Gaya and 5.9 mm in Bhagalpur.

Patna recorded maximum temperature of 29 degree Celsius today.

The state weather office forecast generally cloudy sky with possibility of rain/thundershower tomorrow.

In view of rains, Patna district magistrate Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal has ordered closure of schools till class VIII today and tomorrow.

Many localities of capital Patna faced problem of waterlogging due to rains.
 

Waterlogging was reported in Darbhanga and other towns of the state too.
