The Rajasthan government today decided to notify four more conservation reserves and extending areas of tiger reserves in Ranthambore and Sariska.
Mokhla (Jaisalmer), Jeen Mata forest area (Sikar), Mansa Mata forest area (Jhunjhunu) and Grass Farm nursery (Jaipur) will be made conservation reserve in order to conserve species of wildlife there, an official spokesperson said here.
The decisions were taken in a standing committee meeting of the state Wildlife Board in which a proposal for introducing tiger safari in Olavari-Niwari forest area in Ranthambore and in Nahargarh Biological Park (Jaipur) was also passed.

The committee also decided to extend the areas of Ranthambore and Sariska to protect the depleting wild cat population and to shift bears in Sariska from other parts, the spokesperson said.
All the proposals, which were passed in the meeting, will be forwarded to the National wildlife board for necessary approval, he added.
