Raj minorities commission to organise workshop

The Rajasthan State Minorities Commission will organise a workshop aimed at the academic elevation of minorities on September 22.

Over 100 minority institutions from across the state have been invited to the workshop where they will be informed about the government welfare schemes, the commission's chairman Jasbir Singh said in a press conference.

The representatives of minority institutions, including schools and colleges, will take part in it, Singh said.

He added that there are over 250 minority institutions are registered with the commission.

Members from the National Minority Commission will also give a presentation, he added.
