Rajasthan announces bonus, 6 lakh state employees to benefit

Rajasthan government today announced a cash bonus for its six lakh employees on the occasion of Deepawali next month, an official spokesperson said.

Barring the gazetted officer, the bonus would be paid to all six lakh employees whose pay grade is at Rs 4800 or less than this, and it would be assessed on 30 days of incentive (bonus), the spokesperson said.

The maximum limit of bonus would be not more than Rs 3500. This bonus would be paid to employees of panchayat samiti, zila parishad and workcharge employees.

This decision would put an extra financial burden of Rs 203.22 crore on the state exchequer, the spokesperson added.
