AICC General Secretary Gurudas Kamat said the decision of demonetisation has led to the hardship for people.
"Congress has always stood with the people of the country, whether the party is in power or not. The party will once again prove that we are with the public while raising voice against the anarchism prevailing in the country in the BJP rule," he said.
The party will hand over representations related to the allegations against the Prime Minister in all the district headquarters of the state on January 7 while Mahila Congress will demonstrate on January 9, Kamat said.
"The Prime Minister did not think about the problems which occurred after the demonetisation. He had said that the decision will curb corruption, terrorism and fake currency but nothing such happened rather the terrorists got the new notes," he said.
PCC President Sachin Pilot, former chief minister Ashok Gehlot, MLAs, and others were present in the meeting.
