BJP leader Ram Madhav today met Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra here after holding a crucial meeting with a leader of the coalition partner PDP amid the deteriorating situation in Kashmir Valley.
"Madhav met the Governor and discussed security-related issues with him and the initiatives under consideration for hastening the developmental process and promoting peace and normalcy," a Raj Bhawan spokesman said.
Earlier in the day, Madhav, BJP's National General Secretary, and Avinash Rai Khanna, the party's National VicePresident, held a meeting with PDP Minister Haseeb Drabu for over one-and-a-half hours at the BJP headquarters here.

Madhav is here ahead of the two-day visit of BJP national President Amit Shah to the state from April 29.
Madhav also held a meeting with state police chief S P Vaid at the BJP headquarters before meeting the Governor.
BJP sources said the party and the central government areconcerned over the deteriorating security situation in Kashmir.
