Ramkumar Ramananthan and Sanam Singh progressed to the second round of the Chennai Open qualifying event even as all other Indians bowed out here today,
Ramkumar got past against compatriot and wild card Sumit Nagal 6-2 6-0 while Sanam toyed with another wild card Ajai Selvaraj 6-0 6-0.
Indians, who lost their matches included wild card Mohit Mayur, Saketh Myneni, Sriram Balaji, Sasikumar Mukund and Vijay Sundar Prasanth.
