In restricted activity, red chilli dropped by Rs 200 per quintal at the kirana market in the national capital today on fall in demand against adequate stocks position.
However, other spices traded in a narrow range in limited deals and pegged at last levels.
Traders said easing demand from retailers against ample stocks position on increased supplies from producing regions, mainly led to the fall in red chilli prices.
