Refined palmolein edges down on poor demand

Refined palmolein prices edged down further in an otherwise mute Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to poor demand from retailers despite higher Malaysian cues.

While, groundnut oil, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil ruled stable in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.

In the edible segment, refined palmolein softened by a Re per 10 kg to Rs 484 from Friday's closing level of Rs 485.

Groundnut oil ended unaltered at Rs 980 per 10 kg.

Moving to non-edible section, castorseed bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil closed unchanged at its previous level of Rs 3,625 per 100 kg, 755 per 10 kg and Rs 755 per 10 kg, respectively.
