Refined palmolein prices gained marginally in an otherwise mute Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to firm stockist offtake as well as retail buying.
Meanwhile, groundnutoil, linseed oil, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial held steady in the absence of any major buying activity.
The castorseeds futures rates for today were unavailable.
Moving to edible segment, refined palmolein inched-up by a Re per 10kg to Rs 573 from Monday's closing level of 572. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 780 per 10kg.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and Linseed oil all closed unaltered at Rs 3,975 per 100kg, Rs 825 and Rs 840 per 10kg.
