Refined soya oil prices fell by 0.38 per cent to Rs 630.95 per 10 kg in futures market today as traders cut down their bets amid subdued demand in the spot market against adequate stocks.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in far-month January 2016 declined by Rs 2.40, or 0.38 per cent, to Rs 630.95 per 10 kg, with an open interest of 91,890 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in December shed Rs 1.15, or 0.18 per cent, to Rs 635.00 per 10 kg in 11,115 lots.
Market analysts attributed the fall in refined soya oil futures to easing demand in the spot market against adequate stocks on higher supplies from producing belts.
