Refined soya oil prices fell by 1.36 per cent to Rs 581.10 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced holdings amid subdued demand in the spot market.
Besides, adequate stocks position in the physical market on higher supplies from producing belts, put pressure on refined soya oil prices.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in November fell by Rs 8, or 1.36 per cent, to Rs 581.10 per 10 kg with an open interest of 32,725 lots.

In a similar fashion, the oil for delivery in December traded lower by Rs 3.80, or 0.64 per cent, to Rs 589.95 per 10 kg in 87,040 lots.
Market analysts said offloading of positions by participants, following subdued demand in the spot market, mainly pulled down refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
