Refined soya oil prices were down 0.27 per cent to Rs 662.55 per 10 kg in futures trade today as traders reduced their positions, tracking a weak trend at spot market on subdued demand.
Sufficient stocks on higher supplies from producing belts also put pressure on refined soya oil prices.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in far-month June declined by Rs 1.80, or 0.27 per cent to Rs 662.55 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,19,950 lots.

Likewise, the oil for delivery in May contracts shed Rs 1.40, or 0.22 per cent to Rs 647.60 per 10 kg in 8350 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by participants due to decline in demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position mainly drag down refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
