Shares of Reliance Communications surged over 9 per cent today on buzz of positive corporate reports.
The stock jumped 9.29 per cent to settle at Rs 71.15 on BSE. Intra-day, it soared 10.9 per cent to Rs 72.20.
At NSE, shares of the company advanced by 9.29 per cent to settle at Rs 71.15.
The company's market valuation rose by Rs 1,506.09 crore to Rs 17,709.09 crore.
In terms of volume, 38.59 lakh shares of the company changed hands at BSE and over 2 crore shares were traded at NSE during the day.
As per reports, Reliance Communications is set to sell its stake in tower unit Reliance Infratel.
Meanwhile, the broader BSE benchmark Sensex ended at 25,775.74, down 43.60 points.
