Maharashtra government offices in Mumbai and other parts of the state reported normal attendance, Mantralaya sources said. Educational institutions in the city also reported normal attendance. The strike will also not affect HSC students, whose examinations begin tomorrow, with the School Bus Owners' Association saying it will ferry students from railway stations to exam centres. The Maharashtra Rajya Shikshan Sanstha Mahamandal (MRSSM), the umbrella body of private educational institutes across the state, is also not participating in the strike.
