Jammu: Minister of State for Industries Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo announced two-month free ration and a sum of Rs 10,000 each to the families affected by fire in Tun-Ifityan village of Kishtwar district today.
He also announced Rs 15,000 under Indira Awas Yojna for construction of houses gutted in the fire.
Twenty four houses were gutted and several domestic animals killed in massive fire in Tun-Ifityan village.

Jammu: Minister of State Power and Information Vikar Rasool directed the power department authorities to speed up consumer registration so that all the illegal connections are regularised.
"Ensure that the consumer registration is speeded up so that all the illegal connections are regularised and the revenue realisation is increased and the consumers get the requisite rationalised supply of power," Vikar said in a review meeting of Power Development Department here.
