Revenue record in Haryana to be digitised: HARSAC

"Haryana Space Applications Centre, Hisar, has taken a lead in the modernisation of land records in the state by digitising the maps for better land administration," V S Arya, Senior Scientist, HARSAC said here today.

The newly launched centrally sponsored programme called National Land Record Modernisation Programme (NLRMP) is being funded by Ministry of Rural Development, he said.

A two-day workshop is being organised on 6 and 7 September at HARSAC, here, he said.

Senior officials including Principal Secretary and Director Land Records of Revenue Department of about 28 states would assemble here.

They will share their experiences of land administration and modernisation of land records and prepare a road map for the successful completion of this task in the entire country, he said.
