Rifle recovered from brick kiln

A country made rifle was found hidden in a row of bricks in a kiln at Thadagam on the city outskirts today, police said.

Workers who were rearranging the bricks for transporting noticed a polythene bag and on opening it found the rifle inside.

Police, who reached there on information, took possession of the firearm.
