Goa transport minister Mauvin Godinho on Saturday said a roadmap had been prepared for early resumption of mining in the state in the next couple of months.
Mining came to a standstill in Goa in March last year after the Supreme Court quashed 88 iron ore leases.
"Sincere efforts are being made by the Pramod Sawant government to resume mining by next month or January, 2020. We have chalked out a roadmap," Godinho said, but refused to give further details.
