Robber arrested in Jaisalmer

A robber and gang leader Ajaypal Singh, active in stealing bundles of wires used in wind mills, has been arrested, the police said today.

Singh was arrested yesterday.

Jaisalmer police had announced a cash award of Rs 1000 on his arrest as a number of wind mill wires' theft cases were registered against him in various police stations of this district, they said.

The accused hailed form Selta in Jaisalmer district, they said, adding his other accomplices would be nabbed soon.
