Rowing Federation of India (RFI) will be selecting probables for the Asian Championships, to be held in Pattaya from October 28-31, from over 150 participants at the first National Indoor Rowing Championship here tomorrow.
The competition, which will see participants from 16 states, All-India University and Indian Navy, will have two events of lightweight and open to be held over 2000 metres for both men and women in individual and pairs.
Sixteen ergometers or rowing equipment, will be used for the competition in the Indoor Hall of the Lake Club.
The machine will be used to simulate the action of watercraft rowing and it will measure the race which will be displayed on a giant screen.
