Rs 15 lakh hawala money recovered, 3 held

Acting on a tip off, police laid a trap and intercepted a car at Adda Nasrala and recovered the cash. Gurmit Singh, his wife Surjit and son Mann of village Bakarpur, presently residing at Jalandhar, were arrested in this connection, police said.

In another incident, the Punjab Police arrested two contract killers and recovered a pistol and some cash from them.
