Rs 18 lakh looted from petrol pump employee

Armed miscreants today looted Rs 18 lakh from a petrol pump employee in Bihar's Patna district, a police officer said.

An employee of the petrol pump was carrying Rs 18 lakh to deposit the case in a nearby bank, when unidentified armed miscreants intercepted him and snatched a bag containing the cash at gun point, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Manu Maharaj said.

A probe is on in the matter, he said.
