Rs 20 lakh unaccounted money seized from bus passenger

: Unaccounted money worth Rs 20 lakh in scrapped Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes was seized today from a man by excise officials at a check post in the district, police said.

Abdul Gafoor (42), who was on his way to the town from Mumbai by bus, was arrested during a routine vehicle check at Manjeshwaram check post and the money seized from him, they said.

Gafoor could not account for the cash, they said, adding a listcontaining some names was also seized from him.
