Armed motorcycle borne criminals
today looted Rupees three lakh from a gram sevak while he was returning after withdrawaing money from a bank for distribution of old age pension in Bihar's Katihar district.
Superintendent of Police Chotte Lal said the gram sevak was coming to Panchayat bhawan after withdrawing the money when four criminals riding on two motorcycles accosted him and snatched the bag and ran away.
Money was meant for distribution among old age pensioners, he said.
Search is on for the looters, the SP added.
