Thieves broke the glass of a parked

car in sector-1 here and stole Rs 5 lakh kept in the vehicle, police said.

According to a police complaint lodged by the car owner Furkan Ali, a contractor, he had withdrawn Rs 5 lakh from bank and came to Noida to make payment to some persons for purchase of a plot.

He went to meet his friend at sector-1 office. After an hour, when he came back he found the car window broken and the cash kept in a suitcase on the dashboard missing.
