Burglers today looted Rs 9.5 lakh from a Bihar Kshetriya Gramin Bank in Bhagalpur district today, a police officer said.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vivek Kumar said four armed robbers stormed into the Sanhaouli branch of Bihar Kshetriya Gramin Bank and looted Rs 9.5 lakh by holding all bank officials hostage at gun point.
Before making good their escape, the robbers locked four bank employees in the vault room and the customers in the washroom, he said.
A probe was on, Kumar said.
