Eighty kg of ganja worth Rs eight lakh was seized today from two persons, including a Sri Lankan refugee, at Vedhalai sea coast near Mandapam, police said.
Striking force personnel, acting on a tip off, searched a car parked at a nearby area and found found gunny bags packed with the drug.
The duo were then arrested, police said.
