Nomination papers of the two TRS candidates for the biennial election to Rajya Sabha from Telangana have been found to be valid.
Senior TRS leaders D Srinivas and V Lakshmikanta Rao yesterday filed their nominations.
The nominations of both of them have been found to be valid after scrutiny, a release from the office of the Chief Electoral Officer said.
TRS has the numbers to win both the seats and as there are no other candidates, Srinivas and Lakshmikanta Rao are set to be declared elected uncontested.
