Attacking the CPM government in Kerala over the death of its worker, the RSS today alleged the state was witnessing "brutal suppression" of the principles of democracy and human rights which has no place in democratic India.
Condoling Vimala's death, RSS's Akhil Bhartitya Sah Prachar Pramukh Nand Kumar today said her tragic demise was yet another entry into the growing list of atrocities which were the result of "state sponsored attacks" against the organisation.
Vimala's tragic death is yet another entry to a growing list of atrocities that are being perpetuated by CPM cadre against RSS workers, Kumar said in a statement.

"Since CM Pinarayi has taken office there has been an alarming trend of CPM cadre attacks on women and children. Vimala is the latest victim of this organised savagery," he alleged.
Kumar said in the absence of any decisive action by the Kerala government and law enforcement agencies, political violence against RSS had intensified.
Vimala died today from burn injuries after her house was set on fire on December 28 by alleged CPM workers, Kumar said.
"Today, this strategy has cost a young, vibrant woman her life under the most barbaric circumstances, where her existence was reduced to a mound of burnt flesh," he added.
The BJP has alleged that there were more than 400 attacks on its cadres and volunteers of the RSS in the state last year.
The Centre has also granted VIP security cover to four Kerala BJP leaders following these attacks.
