School student, driver killed as bus overturns

A student and the driver of a school bus were killed when it overturned on Kalol road in Gandhinagar district today, police said.

Nine students of Gandhinagar School travelling in the bus when the incident took place, they said.

The driver of the bus died on the spot while one of the students succumbed to his injuries after he was admitted to a nearby hospital, police said.

The condition of other eight students is stable, police said.
