Scrap dealer injured rpt injured in explosion

A scrap dealer was injured rpt injured this morning when a television condenser exploded while he was sorting junk items in Alvi Nagar colony under Lonia Kotwali area, police said.

The victim identified as Hashmat, a resident of Kolkata, was injured rpt injured when the condenser exploded as he was rummaging through scrap items in front of his house, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Arvind Yadav.

A forensic team was called in to examine the residual contents of the scrap, officer said.
