SDO arrested on graft charges

Haryana State Vigilance Bureau today arrested a sub-divisional officer of Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board (HSAMB) for allegedly accepting bribe for clearing pending bills.

The bureau arrested Satbir Singh, posted as SDO of HSAMB in Jhajjar while taking the bribe and an FIR has been registered against him under section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 at the bureau's police station in Rohtak.

Further investigation of the case is in progress.
