Security forces arrest KYKL militant in Manipur

Security forces arrested a cadre of the proscribed militant outfit Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) from Manipur's Kakching district, the police said today.

A combined team of Manipur police and Assam Rifles on Saturday arrested the KYKL cadre while conducting a search operation in and around Wangoo Lupa Marup area in Kakching district, a press release issued by PRO, Manipur Police said.

A combined team comprising of Narcotics and Affairs of Border (NAB) of Manipur police, members of All Lilong Anti-Drug Association (ALADA) and Anti-Social Preventive Organization (ASPO) arrested one woman drug paddler from Thoubal district yesterday and seized heroin from her, the release added.
