Security supervisor dies after falling from 5th floor

A security supervisory died this afternoon after falling from the fifth floor of a shopping mall in west Delhi.

The deceased, identified as Manoj Kumar (35) was a native of Etah in Uttar Pradesh. His body was found in the basement parking which is two floors below ground level, police said.

"The incident was reported about 12 noon and an investigation has been taken up. It appears to be a case of accident," a senior police officer said.

Manoj fell from the staircase down to the basement parking which is five levels down. The CCTV footage of the mall has been examined and its staff have been questioned, he said.
 

No suicide note was found on the deceased who lived with his family in Raghuveer Nagar. He worked as supervisor of the security guards at the mall for the past 4 years.
